You know how all politicians and political parties make social content? Well we did that first.
For over eight years, Cavalier has been a trusted content partner to the Mayor of London, working closely with City Hall to craft and deliver high-impact campaigns that connect with diverse audiences across the capital. From content strategy through to production and delivery, we’ve helped shape some of the Mayor’s most visible communications — including flagship initiatives like #LondonIsOpen, celebrating London’s openness to the world, and #BehindEveryGreatCity, marking the centenary of women’s suffrage and championing gender equality.
Our role spans the full content lifecycle — from insight-led campaign planning and concept development, to end-to-end production and post. We’ve produced everything from emotive documentary-style films and viral social assets to broadcast-quality content used across major public events and press launches. Our team has worked hand-in-hand with the Mayor’s comms and policy teams to ensure every piece of content is aligned, inclusive, and built to make impact.
This work was recognised with a Silver Award at the Public Sector Communications Awards, and continues to define our approach: bold creative, rooted in purpose, delivered with care. Cavalier is proud to be a long-term creative partner to one of the most important public offices in the UK.
From The Mayor’s Office
“Cavalier have been game-changing for The Mayor’s online presence, particularly in how we are able to connect with key audiences. From the original ‘Doors’ film at the start of the #LondonIsOpen campaign, through to the globally viral ‘Mean Tweets’, we all love working with Cavalier and are extremely proud of the content we create together.”
