Making Every Road, Abbey Road

In 2019, Cavalier began a conversation with Bowers & Wilkins — a global leader in luxury audio — about an ambitious idea: could we bring the soul of Abbey Road Studios into a moving car?

The vision was bold: recreate the magic of Abbey Road’s iconic spaces — the bespoke equipment, legendary engineering, and peerless sound — inside the next generation of Volvo vehicles. It wasn’t just about technology. It was about experience, emotion, and storytelling at the highest level.

Cavalier led the project end-to-end — managing everything from ideation, branding, and storyboarding through to pre-production, budgeting, talent management, filming, and post-production. Working across three world-class brands, we orchestrated the entire creative and production process, ensuring alignment at every stage.

For the final film, we partnered with Ezra Collective — Mercury Prize winners and BRIT Award winners — whose sound obsession perfectly matched the spirit of the collaboration. Ezra Collective became the first to experience Abbey Road Studios Mode in the new Volvo EX90, demoing their latest album and delivering a moment that was as authentic as it was electrifying.

This project was a proud milestone for Cavalier — a culmination of creativity, teamwork, relentless attention to detail, and thousands of careful decisions behind the scenes.”
